JFTR is a hidden gem record store. They have rarities and a back catalogue that other stores dont have.. and dont cane you on the prices for them. They ship fast and in excellent packaging. I have made multiple purchases from them recently and every time the experience has been faultless.

This is a store where you go for the records you love in good condition at a competitive price, Not recommended for bargain hunting, the owner is very sharp on current pricing and offers a fantastic new and used selection. Very professional service. I cannot recommend this store highly enough, If you're a collector in or out of town this is a must visit.

That was an unexpected surprise to come across such a professional record shop run from a private garage. Huge stock, absolutely immaculate & well displayed. It is not just records but vinyl record cleaning aids, helpful advice, and friendly service. Gordon is very knowledgable, delivers all over the globe. We could not help but be very impressed, plus spent a bit more than we planned after finding some favourite records from the past. Thanks Gordon...we'll be back.

I made quite a few trips to Just For The Record during my recent time in New Zealand. What a fantastic selection of both current and older, hard to find records, especially from New Zealand artists/Flying Nun Records. I ended up with a number of hidden gems that I had been seeking for quite some time. Gordon and Janis were gracious hosts, extremely welcoming, and always grateful for my business. I enjoyed my time in the shop, chatting and joking with Gordon, and my only regret was not having the time to take him up on his offers for a coffee at every visit. (I'll be sure to next time!) Good people, great business. It's very worth your time to drop by this wonderful shop!
