        Amazing. Secluded and quiet. Definitely a hidden little gem. Just be wary it's a heck of a drive on gravel road with minimal reception.

        Beautiful free location. Well worth spending a while in this area - so quiet and relaxing in the many moods of new Zealand rainforest. Wasn't brave enough to walk down to the river on this trip but intend to later in the summer. P.s. take water to the hot pools - didn't realize I was almost dehydrated till I stood up!
