Tiger House

What a glorious, tropical paradise! We had an incredible 5 nights at Tiger House, the kids swimming every day, then warming back up in the outdoor bath. While the extra bedroom outside is quite rustic (my husband - who I suspect resents my aversion to camping - absolutely loved it), the main house is pure luxury and well equipped for a lush holiday. We also thoroughly enjoyed the huge personalities of the two ducks who live here, not to mention the other wildlife and animals in the neighbouring farms. A brilliant holiday - we hope to return soon!

Dont hesitate for even one second when considering Tiger House - book it immediately. Truly one of the greatest AirBnBs available, not just in Hawkes Bay, but across the country. George has done a masterful job in converting this barn into the perfect mix of a tropical oasis and cozy farmhouse. Everything is thought of, from the most comfortable bed, to a practical (and beautiful) dressing room, to the outdoor bath with a postcard view of the surrounding valley. Thank you so much George for creating such a magical haven and sharing it with the world.

Highly recommend Tiger House! Very peaceful & relaxing stay, quiet, with an expansive outlook from the kitchen window. The outdoor bath is a great spot & the pool would be awesome in summer. The outdoor fire makes it really cosy & its such a unique spot, feels very foreign! Nice Citta towels & bedding. Host Woody was very accomodating & communicative, left us breakfast provisions & fresh fruit & local coffee, much appreciated. Until next time!
