This place is truly magnificent, the history of these three islands is yet to be discovered. I grew up here amongst the ruins of the 1931 earthquake in the 1960's - 1970's and could tell many a stories.Though little of it shows today it is hard to believe that the islands were just what they were and surrounded by at least 95% water pre - 1931 earthquake and only once since then has the water returned fully in the great flood in the mid 70's.
