        Two hours of on/off gravel roads full of potholes via Wairoa (South), unsure what the road conditions are from Rotorua (North), washouts and slips makes it very unideal to reach on my RWD; 4WD highly recommended. Should anything happen, its too deep to receive reception. The closest toilets to the entrance has no lock. Though once you have made it there, the view is alright.

        Amazing for those that can get here, you NEED 4WD. The view and wildlife is breathtaking not to mention the night sky is awe-inspiring. Bring your own rubbish disposables.

        Mokau Bay Wairoa Angling Clud Members Only Cabins. Beautiful place to get away from the hustle and bustle of city noises. Love going up to Lake Waikaremoana. So peaceful, stunning scenery and fun times.
