In my opinion the most knowledgeable people and institute for vegetable gardening and growing nutrient rich food and happy, healthy lifestyles. Well worth their workshops, tours or other opportunities to volunteer with. Books excellent too. Stunning special heritage trees and seeds. Wish I could one day purchase a clutch of eggs for my urban backyard! If you want to get serious about gardening... Check these people out.

I have been buying seed and trees from Koanga for many years for my vege growing a d orchard. The stock from Koanga is so healthy and, strong and I've never been disappointed. I highly recommend buying from the Koanga and supporting our country's heritage seed pool. You can harvest your own seed from your vegetables to grow the following year, whereas the modern hybrid plants dont give you seed that is true to the original vegetables. That is why this heritage seed and fruit/nut pool is so important for NZ
