Wairunga Golf Course and Cottages

Wow! What an absolutely magical place to stay. Great for a large extended families/friends, or perfect for a couples quiet get away. Fantastic for kids with outdoor bath, and mature native bush with a dance floor built over an old tomo (what a surprise), theres plenty of farm life to keep them entertained. Impressive sound system over the dance floor with night lighting and chandelier. The house was full of history, and the large kitchen/massive dining table made it perfect for entertaining also with an outdoor fire. Pack the golf clubs for 18 holes on the beautiful farm course onsite, or walking shoes for the Mohi bush reserve next door (North Island Robin present). Couldnt have had better hosts, invited across to watch Parker fight and hot cross buns and coffee to boot. Not far for fish n chips/coffee at Waimarama Beach, or a drop of wine at the Craggy Range Vineyard. Would love to come again.

Played golf (9 holes) $10 honesty box fee, old school feel, shared the course with sheep and cows. Awesome, fun and relaxing. Friendly staff
