        Would be more interesting if trees were named and planting dates shown. As it is it is a pleasant wander only.

        A delightful location. I had no idea I would find rare Wollemi Pines here. Good level of fitness required, it's steep and slippery in places. Easy to do 3-4 kms if cover all tracks. Lots of surprises.

        Its fantastic place to have a walk and to look at different species of conifers. Its easy to find the entrance. While with limited knowledge of conifers, its hard to recognize them because of limited labels. Some exercise is required like going up and down the hills. There are sheep inside as well, which are quite timid. It has awesome views with Mt Ruapehu. Its definitely worth visiting on a nice day.
