Central Glass

Not even one star service. Went in on Monday to book my vehicle in for a genuine windscreen on the Friday. Friday morning arrives, go to drop the vehicle off in the morning and advised the windscreen is due in at 12pm yet my appointment is 8am. Not suitable for me due to other plans we could not change. I wasn't contacted the morning of or night before advising the windscreen is delayed and it would possibly need rebooking. Drove all the way in for my appointment and it couldn't be done at my booking time. Extremely disappointing service, had always recommend Central Glass to family and friends - will be looking for another repairer. Service: Auto windshield replacement

The whole claim with my insurance was a massive debarcle. Event happened end of October and it was mid December when it was finally repaired. Lack of comms, it was the second time it was booked in (I had covid the first time) that they told us they didnt have the glass and had no ETA as it was with the Auckland office. Paul called and asked me about six weeks in if I had the glass fixed?! Im pretty sure they only made an effort when I asked for the part number so I could hunt it down myself. When the glass finally came in it took a week to book it in and despite Paul telling us to bring it in a Tuesday we were treated like we were wrong by Paul, reception and the workshop. After two days they gave us back a van with no seal installed (found in the van) and the window clip missing. Shoddy job, bad customer service. Will not use again.
