        First opened in 1914, I apologise I never knew you were a tram bridge, I further apologise for the new found respect for you I am experiencing. So much more than I did when I knew you as a car/other bridge, I feel now Id like to get to know you better. After all you gave Whanganui east trams for Petes sake, 1000 tonnes of steel, 30 tonnes of rivets 1800 yards of concrete, I didnt know you were such a bad boy/girl/bridge I cant wait to drive on you again, Well make it our little secret.

        An amazing bridge had been celebration its 100 years bithday at November 2014 and still carry over 10000 vehicle per/day, you will really enjoying the view of the history bridge and enjoying the great view of the River City Whanganui and the beautiful Wananui River here......
