Rooms: Unclean,drab,needing some real care!!! Nearby activities: Didn't stay long enough to find out Safety: I didn't feel hygiene level was safe. Had a lizard and huge cockroach in my room when I entered and everything felt grimy Walkability: A long uphill walk Food & drinks: Had crockery and utensils Noteworthy details: This facility need a benefactor to finance some paint and new decor throughout

The building was previously a care home/ hospital. It's described on the signage that it is a superior place to stay There's still a chapel there and the rooms were dated. The shared kitchen/ dining room was well used. The staff were friendly as were the long stay residents. The bedroom and bedding were clean. It's a strange place but a lovely old building which is reasonably priced and in a good location with parking. It was noisy at times from other rooms with a loud TV and talking. I was woken up at 5am the first night we stayed with a conversation going on in a nearby room or corridor. There wasn't hot water both mornings in our room while we stayed. However there was plenty at night. ( We did mention this to the owners, they had a lot of people staying there at the time, hence no hot water) Rooms: It would have been nice to have a kettle in the bedroom.
