        You wouldn't expect a landmark such as this in Whanganui if you're a visitor. It's quite beautiful to even look at. There are plenty of parking around the Queens Park which is right next to this, so park your car, wonder around and enjoy what Whanganui has to offer.

        Historic world war one and two war memorial landmark in the heart of Wanganui. Well built and magnificient and located in a beautiful park close to other Wanganui landmarks and the central business district you can make a day of it if you want. Lots of free parking in this area too.
