Maskill Contracting

I contracted and paid Maskills to move a van from Christchurch to Wellington. It took them six weeks. Thats less than half a kilometer an hour, the same speed as a slug. After the first week of waiting, I received an email from the seller of the vehicle who had not been contacted by Maskillls. After chasing Maskills they then asked the seller to move the vehicle (which is not running) on to the street, which was not allowed for and highly risky to the elderly seller. After 10 days I called the Christchurch office andI spoke to a woman who told me that because the van is not running it is not a high priority for Maskills. Four weeks later I received an email saying Maskills, a Transportation company, were still waiting on a suitable truck. Two weeks of radio silence followed and I chased again, this time talking to the manager of Maskills who said my vehicle had arrived in Wellington. They had just forgotten to tell the client that it had arrived, after being chased multiple times and taking 6 full weeks. ps. I emailed Maskills twice over the last two weeks to discuss the service I had received from them. They failed to reply.
