Calm and quite place.. perfect place for camping.. close to city.

Freedom camp sites, good facilities with walks through the old Manawatu Gorge. Bring a kayak if the water is slow, a bbq if its a bit too fast. This area remains a bit cold until mid morning, so bring warm clothes too

Freedom camp sites, good facilities with walks through the old Manawatu Gorge. Bring a kayak if the water is slow, a bbq if its a bit too fast. This area remains a bit cold until mid morning, so bring warm clothes too
