    Food & drinks: We were sold fish that has gone bad. Our 5th day holiday in NZ & we encountered such dishonest practice today. Seriously disappointing. I can accept that the guy manning the counter forgot our order & had to be reminded after we finished our drinks, which is fine & thats why i told him to just packed the fish & chips, but to have sold a fish (you can easily tell it from the smell) that has gone bad is unacceptable. I am deeply dissapointed bcos i have always equate the kiwi with honesty, integrity & a no-nonsense attitude. I would have returned the fish if we were nearby but we have driven quite a distant when my son finally decided to take a bite.
