        Visited the Waireka Honey Centre for the first time last weekend and had a very enjoyable visit. We searched for the Queen Bee, and Grace was so excited when she found it. We were able to taste the various honeys available before making our selection. Next to the Coffee Bar, there was a selection of honey based ice cream. I definitely recommend the fig and honey, available in waffle or plain cones. We chose the bowls.

        Lots of honey - so much choice from inexpensive to expensive. They have a tasting bar where all honeys can be sampled - prepare to be sugared out! Good range of honey flavoured ice cream as well. If you like honey then definitely stop by here if passing.
