Best Gym in Palmerston North - especially if you want access to free weights, power cages etc. I do free weights and this gym has been a no brainer for the last 3+ years. Squats. Check. Deadlift platforms (plural unlike other gyms that have zero) Check. Bench press x 4 Check. Micro weights too which other commercial gyms do not have. **Only recommendations for improvement is for the showers - perhaps having anti slip mats etc like the YMCA since water takes a while to drain and can be very slippery since you need to go through them to the toilets. Changed from CityFitness to here since the equipment is much better + accessible and never looked back. You might do the same

From personal experience I would NOT recommended to anyone . The vibe that the owner gives is just not it . He cancel my membership because of someone I talk to one time, gave him a one star and a bad review on here. he always blindly accuse people especially brown people instead of using his cameras. he's always working trying to fix his damaged equipments and make loud noise around people while they are working out which is very dangerous and a big issue in health and safety.
