The team at Mobility Manawatu are amazing. Nothing is a problem to them. They are honest, reliable and go out of their way to help and assist where possible. I have a disabled sister who has called on them when she has needed help with her mobility scooter and they are always willing to help...thanks guys, we really appreciate what you do....

Letitia and Rob and their staff make shopping for people with disabilities an absolute pleasure. Nothing is too much trouble and over the last 7 years they have never let us down. Somehow there is an answer for every problem

Disappointed in the service and equipment. First I arrived with the paperwork and they had 3 available but I had to come back when it was ready. Didnt hear from them so phoned 3 days later and they said its here waiting for you ready. They failed however to tell us to come in. Then we found it was uncomfortable but couldnt adjust the height lower. Turns out The knee scooter was for a taller person. Heavy as to lift into the back of the car and I hurt my back getting it in and out because you have to lean over it and its heavy and awkward. Couldnt park near to the store either and had to wheel it a long way down Ruahine and across traffic to the car. ACC got another knee scooter for my husband when the hirage was due to end and with another company (Hospital had organised the first through this company) and we noticed its smaller and adjustable to his height. When I told Mobility that his one I was returning was too big they said did you let us know? Like it was my fault. I said no because I didnt know there was another size available. I think its ironic that theres no parking close by and I would have appreciated someone to help me put the thing in the back of the car when its steel and weighs a lot. Its strange too why they dont check the person is the right size for the equipment. Yes there is one disabled car park outside but we dont have a disabled tag and actually someone was in the park when we were there anyway. The other parks are angle parks (for the other shops around there). Just not an experience Im keen to repeat.
