A'Abode Motor Lodge

Fair price, room wasnt as expected. Weird set up with a queen and single in the bedroom.single in lounge not a fold out couch. So not suitable for 4 adults. Was told to shift a single bed ourselves into the lounge and told to make sure it went back. Would have thought this could have been done by the lodge staff. Otherwise clean and tidy and in walking distance to where we needed to be. Worth a look and would probably stay there again.

Had booked in to stay here in mid April. Cancelled my booking. They choose to charge your credit card on hold, prior to even staying, despite having a free cancellation policy up until 12 April. Absolutely rude, as this will incur charges to me. Have booked elsewhere, which actually looks better and turns out, cheaper. Update: cancelled my booking but still waiting for the charge to come off my card. Can charge it in less than a few hours, but cancellation completed and the hold still on my card a day later. Rude.
