Mana o te Tangata

This centre was first known as Footsteps then it became Journeys to Well-being. The Team Leaders that looked after the clients were awesome and we were able to go on trips etc. Once it was controlled by Mana O Te Tangata Maori group, over a couple of years they ran the place into the ground so that this place no longer exists and there is no drop in centre here in Levin any more where those with Mental Health problems can go and relax with a a cuppa and chat. Furthermore the Team Leaders at Mana in 2020 filled 2 skips with many craft items that were still in there wrappers and other items that had not even been touched. The blatant wastefulness has left me in despair and crying.

From the very First day walking into mana o te tangata, me and my whanau together love the activities such as cooking, staff are always on top on point, we get respect always from staff, without them the place be nowhere, ngamihi koutou whanau o mana o te tangata.
