        Amazing short walk close to Levin

        Beautiful area of native bush. Lots of bird life and ancient trees. The boardwalk track is fantastic through the wetter areas. Im not sure if you can access the lake from anywhere else. It looks like farmland on the Western side. We used the main entrance at Buller Road. No obvious track down to the lake itself which is a shame. Very cool but somewhat neglected gem. No dogs.
