Quiet, country charm for a relaxing, envigorating and peaceful stay. The unit is set high enough to get views around the surrounding green, rolling countryside. It is quite large, well equipped, clean and cosy. You will love the animal interactions with the many horses, peacocks, hawks, pukeko etc. The unit is family sized so your children can get that country experience. Your host, Mandy, is most accommodating and helpful. The settings is a ten minute drive to supermarkets, cafes and the small shopping centre of Waikanae. Highlights of the village are the Salt and Wood Collective bar which serves craft beer and food, the nearby Old Beach Bakery, and the stunning river walks along the Waikanae River reserve. So if you need some fresh air, countryside and to recharge your batteries do try the Te Horo Farmstay.
