        Didnt stay at the hut but visited on a day tramp. Hut looks very quaint so Ill be back for an overnight stay. Note the Doc site says there is a slip and recommends taking the emergency track. The emergency track adds 2 hours to the trip. I took the usual track - the slip has stairs and can be crossed.
