After a choice "Morena" welcome at the entrance of the car park we rushed to our van, staff and driver were awesome! Service is quick and efficient, heaps of parking and was really secure. Highly recommend

Due to bad weather our shuttle was cancelled (good call). They were late notifying us, possibly because our phones didn't work. Money was paid back in a few days.

After we turned around and phoned them, they left us at the drop-off for 2 hrs in the cold. Did eventually get us back to the car park, which is why it's 2 stars.

Top organised, but very overpriced. 47 NZD for a one-way trip to the starting point. After a 20 km hike, you have to walk another 1 km back to the car park. According to the driver, a large part of the fee is used for the maintenance of the hiking trail. In fact, at least 10 km of the downhill trail is paved with plastic mats fixed with thousands of steel hooks. The holes in the mats are filled with gravel that does not come from there and therefore had to be brought up the mountain, presumably by helicopter. Quite a few of these plastic mats lie next to the path. Not really an example of respect for nature, more of mass tourism at any price. Even forest paths are paved with these mats. Of course, carting thousands of tourists up there every day brings in more money than offering this hike only to those who have the prerequisites. Felt sorry to support this.
