        Awesome camping area. Right on the beach. Low cost. Unsure if swimming is safe though

        Beautiful, huge, rugged camp ground, right on the beach with many different areas. You can walk kilometres along this very wide beach and interesting shoreline. BBQ. Very clean toilets, cleaned each morning and cold showers. Dump station. $11 per van per night. Great for self contained vehicles.

        Not the flashest camp. BUT. It is a beautiful camp area. So much room. Love the beach. Family stayed at patea fishing cabin. Kayaking to catch beautiful gurnet was beautiful. Been two times. Will be back
