Safety: Safety was always paramount at all times which gave us piece of mind that we selected the right company to take us on the Whanganui river. Noteworthy details: Fabulous scenery, catering was top notch, well looked after canoes & equipment. Would highly recommend Canoe Safaris. The team really look after you.

Rooms: De motel kamer is ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Je kunt op het balkon zitten maar hebt geen prive buitenplaats. Ik heb het vooral gebruikt omdat het prettig was voor en na de kanotocht. Een extra dag verblijven is handig omdat je dichtbij Tongariro zit. Heel dichtbij zijn hottubs en massages voor heerlijk ontspannen na een of meerdere dagen inspanning. De prijs is redelijk.

Kirsty, Phil and the team at Canoe Safaris were so diligent in working with us to accommodate our needs in to the 4-day canoe trip we booked with them through the Whanganui river. We consider ourselves truly lucky to have had Danielle as our guide-she brought education, humour, balance and safety to our group and were scratching our heads as to how it can be travelled without her. Move over skiing and Great Walks this is the ultimate NZ outdoor adventure- especially wife families who want to connect with the teens
