It has 7 well-heated, clean and comfortable bedrooms ( some bunks) in the main lodge and some outside, a lovely shared lounge room ,a large communal kitchen/dining and several shared bathrooms. The owner, Braden is very welcoming and dedicated to his guests enjoyment and comfort. We had a fun time there even though it was raining. There are several forest and river walks nearby and two excellent restaurants within a 5 minute walk. The rail station of Ohakune is 150 metres walk. We especially enjoyed the outdoor hot tubs which were available for a small extra charge.
