(Translated by Google) Very handy to rent your stuff here for a hike or something like that. It is very annoying that the opening time is 7:00 am and someone only arrives at 7:05 am while you have to catch the 7:15 shuttleeventually just made it by chasing the shuttle. The service was good and the items were of good quality. Didn't get wet from the rain suit! Good tip. Goeie tip.

Friendly and helpful staff. CAUTION, fake news: We wanted to do the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, and they very convincingly told us there were alpine conditions, with snow, ice and everything. So we equipped ourselves with crampons and sturdy boots. Turned out this was completely unnecessary, you could have done the hike in sneakers and a sweatshirt. Don't take their advice too seriously, just check the weather forecast and ask someone who has done the hike recently. If you're used to hiking, the Alpine Crossing is just a normal longer hike with very nice views.
