Great little private museum full of fascinating artefacts: farming, milling, hunting, trapping, washing, communications, entertainment. On the property there is also a block of QEII-covenanted wetland and regenerating native forest teeming with birdlife. We went in late Spring when the geese, pukeko and paradise duck offspring were all out in display. Cuckoos, rainbow parakeet and tui all around too. Very friendly hosts. We will be back for sure. $6 admission (cash).
