Big portions of delicious food and pretty chill kiwi vibe. Definitely worth a visit!

While doing road trip around North Island we stopped by the tavern and asked is any accommodation was available. Ended up staying overnight in a private cabin at the backyard.
Had steak (didnt take photos) and fish n chips (photo attached) for dinner and it was just yummy, had a few beers and lovely chat with locals. Got some recommendations on places to visit around. Also played pool on a round table-so much fun.
At the end of my review just want to say thank you to the owners (very friendly and great people) for your hospitality, it was great staying at the tavern! If we are ever around will definitely stay again!
