Actifun Riding Stables

Well what can I say, I'm a newbie. What I have experienced is an extremely supportive and encouraging environment for my journey to being a competent equestrian. Moira, my instructor knows what I need to learn and gives me the opportunities to maximise my progress. I am a superannuatant beginner with mobility issues but after each session I leave reluctantly and tired, but thrilled knowing my comfort zone is rapidly chewing into my terror zone. Her facilities, yards, stables, arenas, and choices of horses mean every individual or group can be matched to the needs, Actifun has all the riding and safety apparel necessary for those without the gear. I for one, am now living, experiencing, and progressing through my dream that was for over 70 years, so distant I couldn't even call it a pipe dream. There is now a fantastic new mounting platform that makes it a doddle for elderly, like myself, and disabled to easily mount and dismount any horse or pony which has easy steps and hand rails too.

Fantastic venue for our 5 year olds birthday. Pony rides were very welcomed and enjoyed, by the children.

My son and I had a great time having our first ever horse riding lesson. Would ten out of ten recommend to others and I mysef would probably visit again if I were traveling that way (from Wellington).
