        I have only ever been here for 1 thing, several times lol. The fishing here from land is spectacular. If you are not afraid of a gravel rd this place is a very worthy side trip, you certainly wont be unhappy with the scenery. If you camp then you may be lucky and get a visit by the local Weka. [small kiwi like birds] but def not shy, they will try and steal anything thats not tied down, like a boot or sandal, lol.
