(Translated by Google) Quiet location, nice room, nice hosts. There are also a few animals. Breakfast with freshly prepared eggs of your choice, pencakes, muesli, toast and everything you could wish for, almost like in a 5-star hotel. (Original) Ruhige Lage, nettes Zimmer, nette Gastgeber. Ein paar Tiere gibt es auch. Frhstck mit frisch zubereitetem Ei nach Wunsch, Pencakes, Msli, Toast und allem was man sich wnschen knnte., fast wie im 5-Sterne-Hotel.

Its a 5 star review plain and simple. Its close to town but rural and quite. Beautiful views all around. Amazing dogs to hang out with. And Kevin is an all star host. Besides our many great conversation with Kevin he also makes just an incredible breakfast. I mean really, worth the stay just for that full massive beautiful breakfast. Pancakes, jams, eggs your way, local mushrooms, tomatoes, potatoes, bacon, and homemade venison sausage which might be worth the 8,000 mile flight alone. Great outdoor and indoor space to meet other travelers. Always a puzzle on the table. And beautiful rooms with comfy beds. Our favorite stay in NZ and well worth the price. Wish I had pictures to share but this is a great place. Do yourself a favor and stay a while. Our only regret was not having more days.

This place is amazing. The rooms are really big and clean, same for bathroom. Shared lounge area also very relaxed. Make sure to speak to Kevin and Anne who run the place, they are amazingly helpful, really good fun and told us loads about the area and the history. If you're nice they might even let you feed the alpacas! Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the mountains is NOT to be missed - Anne is a fantastic chef. Our favourite accommodation in New Zealand!
