        What an absolutely fantastic slice of paradise to call home for many and even more special for those visiting. Mike and Susie-lee are wonderful hosts who offer everything one wants for a weekend getaway. They gave us space when needed, all the local info one could wish for and provided a breakfast that challenges anywhere else Ive been to. Right next to the beach for a lovely morning sunrise walk. The hot tub out the back was the icing on the cake. A glass of NZ sauv, bubbles and a clear night sky are an awesome night away for anyone. The shooting stars were just wonderful. Only 10 minutes from the main town of Kaikoura this is an easy place to enjoy. The trains passing during the night were a nice surprise especially for my partner who just loves train.
