A fun discovery! Coming from Miami, I'd never seen, nor picked, cherries from the tree. The day I stumbled into this U-Pick orchard was the first day of the season (around 11/23) and the cherries were just ripening. Very friendly staff, too. You can buy them prepicked from the stand (probably the best of their crop) but then you don't get the joy of the search and the hands-on experience of plucking them off the trees.
