You must book. This is a boutique winery which produces small quantities. Some superb Pinot Noirs. My host, Stephen, was extremely knowledgeable and took me on an extensive journey from the comfort of the Cellar door.

Fromm was our best winery experience in New Zealand, full stop. If you are going to be in Marlborough, you NEED to book a tasting at Fromm. They are making serious wine in what I think is the proper way, working with, not against, the terroir of this very special part of the world. You are able to taste as many wines as you'd like from a large library. Each wine we tasted was well-made and had something interesting and unique to bring to the table, and several were truly exceptional. I also can't say enough good things about Stephen who poured for us during our visit, he is so knowledgeable about the wines and the winemaking process (which sadly has become rare in cellar doors) and is as warm and welcoming as can be. Great work to the team, a breath of fresh air, and we will steer anyone we know going to the area to Fromm.
