Stopped here for a coffee and breakfast. Good overall. Friendly folks who suggested alternatives to certain ingredients I prefer not to have .

Coffee was great, but this has been the only cafe I've ever been to in my life (and across the world) that had passive aggressive signs posted everywhere saying "keep in mind this is a cafe not an office" I'm not sure why they feel the need to say this. If they are worried about not having enough seating available, it would have been far more polite and respectful to say "please bear in mind that due to limited seating we have a limited seating time of 1.5 hours per guest, thank you for your understanding." For example. As someone who has worked in the hospitality industry for almost 12years now, this is a massive red flag. This shows that management has a short temper and doesn't know how to communicate effectively. To anyone on the job hunt, avoid places like these. After all people that stay longer typically buy more things (statistically speaking) which would be great for business. Because of these signs I felt pressured to leave, in hopes that I wouldnt be creating some kind of unspoken tension. Will not be back. After all there are many other great cafes in New Zealand that don't passive aggressively shoo their paying guests out the door

The creamy mushroom on hash cake is really delicious! The coffee was good and so was the service!
