We have stayed here 3 times now and the rooms are spacious and clean and comfortable. Rooms are well appointed and little treats for when you arrive. Best motel we have stayed in. Value for money and easy walking distance into town. Also lovely toiletries in the bathroom. Warm in the winter. Rooms: Large rooms

Will absolutely stay again! We arrived on our motorcycle and check in was fast, friendly and efficient. We were offered a covered parking spot for our motorcycle. When we got to our room we were delighted by our 2 bedroom apartment, beautiful and well appointed as well as clean and welcoming. The door and windows were open allowing the sun and warmth to flow in. The bathroom had a lovely spa bath (we didn't get a chance to use) a shower over bath and gorgeous locally sourced soap/shampoo/conditioner. We made use of the laundry facilities which had a small cost but so handy, especially when you have to travel light. The small touches, the fudge on our pillows, lollies in a cute bowl on the coffee table and cookie time cookies in the coffee/tea caddy and all the lovely things I mentioned above show that these proprietors care about what they do. We will be recommending to everyone, my partner, who travels to work in Nelson once a month is keen to make Cedar Grove his first choice for accommodation while he is in town.
