Finding Prices less and less convenient. With their change to shorter hours, it means longer wait times. Over an hour to wait for a prescription that was faxed to them the day before. Weekends and later evening services is why I have chosen Prices in the past but now you have to go to Richmond. Just another Nelson establishment doing the bare minimum

It was disappointing to see not one pharmacy staff member wearing a mask today at Prices, despite it still being a government requirement to do so. I didnt see signage on the door reminding customers to wear masks. So many vulnerable people in the waiting room and lots of bugs around. Rules are there based on public health advice. I will be sticking with the lovely Tahunanui pharmacy from now on who not only have fantastic service but also follow public health advice.

I visited Life Pharmacy to buy Phenergan to prevent travel sickness ahead of my trip planned for tomorrow. After waiting 30 minutes to see the pharmacist (Reuben), he took one look at me as a male in my mid twenties and dismissively insisted I did not need Phenergen and Sealegs would do the same thing. I have suffered from motion sickness since I was a child and up until 2 years ago I had never found anything which allowed me to travel without vomiting until I was recommended Phenergen by my doctor (OneHealth Remuera). Studies have suggested Phenergen is far superior to Sealegs in cases of severe motion sickness due to its ability to help individuals sleep. Ruebens rude and assuming approach, leads me to believe he must have suffered from motion sickness his entire life and I am merely uneducated and inexperienced in the effects these 2 medications have on the body. I caution anybody who needs to discuss treatments with Rueben as its likely he will know your bodys response best - unless of course you have your pharmacology PhD on hand. Until today I have only had positive experiences at Life Pharmacy, I hope next time Rueben will avoid stereotyping and further consider customer experiences when prescribing medication.
