The House Martin

I had a very disappointing experience trying to let a property through The House Martin. I found it very unprofessional my current landlord was contacted without my knowledge before I had even viewed the property I was interested in. Luckily he was very understanding and gave a great reference regardless. I was asked for further references who were not even contacted. When being shown the property virtually, I found it very strange that I was only shown the negative aspects of the property. Communication was very poor and overall not a great experience unfortunately.

Melissa and the team at The House Martin are currently managing my property whilst I'm living overseas. The set-up and finding of tenants was smooth and simple, drama-free. I sat down with a few agencies and felt that I was just another number. Melissa's approach was flexible and individualised as she genuinely cares about my experience and my home. Going with The House Martin was the best decision I could have made, as I barely even think about my place - I know it's in great hands!

When my husband and I were still residing in the North Island, Melissa was incredibly accommodating and gave us a virtual house tour so that we didnt have to fly to Nelson. Working with her and The House Martin team has been an absolute dream. Highly recommend!

Melissa and team consistently manage to hit the perfect balance between personal and professional. Cannot fault efficiency and has a well-honed instinct for finding the right people for a property, without undue delay. Well-informed and available to discuss any matters and always very resepctful to all parties, which I particularly value. For consistent and trustworthy management, I couldn't ask for more.

Property Managers come in just about as many shapes and sizes at the properties they manage, as does the quality of service they provide. Melissa however always goes the extra mile for both owners and tenants to make sure things run smoothly and everyone feels valued and respected. Managing a variety of quality properties that meet the standard, thorough background checks to ensure only the best tenants are handed the keys to a property means a happy landlord and happy home-dweller.
