We stayed in the one-bdrm apartment for 4 nights during NYE. Highly enjoyed the stay there. Location was perfect - supermarket a block away, middle of city center was few blocks away, walking distance to Queen's Garden and if you make it to the Garden might as well continue walking up to the Centre of NZ! Also there was a trail close to the Garden that ran along the river so I was able to get my morning runs in. As for the room, it was fairly spacious with ample room in the bdrm closet and the kitchen had pretty much everything we needed - minus the condiments - so we did cook one night. In-unit washer/dryer was appreciated along with paid parking on-site. Room was clean and we are one of those that do not require daily cleaning so we had no qualms about housekeeping not available on weekends. We enjoyed Quest so much, we booked at a Quest in Rotorua too. Urban Oyster Bar just around the corner of Quest is where we pretty much patronized during our stay - highly recommended!

We arrived at 6pm after traveling all day to a room that had not been cleaned from the previous occupants and no staff on-site, after finally getting hold of someone it was cleaned be 7.30pm. The owner then canceled the booking on Bookings so that there was no come back on him, The place is very run down with broken plugs, lights etc.. I would not recommend this place at all.
