My partner and me had our skincheck done at Spot Diagnosis and were more than satisfied with Dougs very informative and friendly consultation. He seemed to know exactly what he's talking about and made us feel comfortable. Highly recommend spot diagnosis / Doug and the pricing's more than reasonable too. All the best and kind regards

Quite shocked by my visit after reading about his years of experience and qualifications. His behaviour was in appropriate. which i dont feel here to elaborate on. Took allot of pictures of the 2 "blemishes" I was concerned about and said one small red spot was a BCC needed an operation. He said at least 4 times during our discussion how much he hated doing operations which was not confidence inspiring. His batteries on the camera went flat twice. He squinted at the compute screen with one eye and took forever to download them. He went into detail when looking at them assuring me one spot (the one giving me most pain and trouble for around two years) was not a cancer and when I asked if it needed a biopsy he said definitely not. When i got home I discussed his behaviour with a nurse and my doctor and found they were not surprised, The other thing that put me off was his left hand not used when typing was shaking the whole time. So I decided to get my local doctor to operate instead. Looking at my back she ended up sendinga piece the large painful forever bleeding and crusting spot that concerned me most to the lab and it turned out to be a squamous cancer cancer which needs removing. Had I gone ahead with Douglas Smith It might have gone on growing even bigger and becoming even more painful for a long time. On this basis I would strongly advice people not to use him whether or not he saves you $50 or not. I personally feel he should not still be practicing any longer in spite of his extensive qualifications.
