        In awe of the Nelson's tradition in seafaring and agriculture, this quaint but very well presented museum brings to life the history and development of this cohesive community from the inception of a changing tapestry beginning with Maori innovation to present day symbiosis of European cultural integration with a diverse heritage. Spiritually and for authentic curiosity reasons, I have experienced Nelson's charm as beautifully aligned with adventurous enthusiastic activity. The museum is a pause in time reflecting the depth, character and difficulties of the township enterprise which is a must see experience for all ages as this lovely museum gives a broad representation of the historical biography ingrained in this multicultural town today.
