MILLERS Firewood & Landscape Supplies

Happy with firewood, shavings and bags of sand. They also have ponga logs, old bricks and fence posts at times, all of which are useful and cheap. I'm a regular visitor.

Love em here can just call in get a load for van . Have got loads from them in past and will do in future . Funny their loads have lasted through winter with plenty to spare other places I've tried, not so. yet I always order same amounts so yep always pleased plus always friendly

Talked with the man and he assured me the wood was dry and clean, arrived covered in mud and wet. Wasted my time waiting in all day for a load of rubbish!!! Sent him away with it !!!

Paul at Millers wood and coal has certainly gained our approval and acceptance as a quality firewood supplier. We have been buying our firewood from Millers for several years now, but unfortunately one of Pauls staff delivered a load of wood that left a little to be desired, bottom of the pile and a little damp still. (this was unknown to Paul). I contacted Paul and expressed my opinion on this matter and within hours he had dispatched a staff member to re-gather the initial load and within 48 hours we received 3 cord of the cleanest, driest pine you could find. Top marks to Paul for his prompt response and we are very grateful for his help. Certainly going back next year.

Physically visited site to chose some nice new bark for my garden. Chose nice golden coloured med fine bark. 4 cubic meters delivered. However the delivered load was a total contrast from what I ordered. It was slimy , muddy , old wet bark full of lots of stones and other debris. The wet was not unexpected due to the rain we have had recently . On complaining to the manager he tried to tell me it was OK and it would wash clean and turn golden! The delivery driver came back and inspected the load and agreed it was a vastly different standard to what I saw in the yard , but bulk supplies come from another site, so what you see is not what you get. After a stressful negotiation , I was offered 3 free scoops of golden bark to skim over the top, which I declined, not trusting any quality from the business, and this was what I orded anyway. He then deducted the 3 scoop offer off the account. My garden is now full of mud, stones , debris and old slimy bark. This is NOT landscape quality bark. Totally disapointing.
