        Great place to visit! We were here recently and highly recommend, the collection goes on and on, so, so much to see and friendly, knowledgable hosts too! Wish I had my 6 year old and nephew with me and my 60 plus year old stepfather to enjoy it with me! Well done!

        I go to Harding Park twice a week as a volunteer in the workshop at the Kaipara Heritage Machinery Museum, restoring, repairing and maintaining the wide range of vintage agriculture machinery which is on display in the main museum. While you are up on the hill you can enjoy the wonderful views over Dargaville town and the mighty Northern Wairoa River. Also in Harding Park, and not to be confused with the Machinery Museum, is the Dargaville Maritime Museum. Also worth a look at.
