Top Trail Cycle Hire and Tours

We recently booked cycle hire and shuttle services with Top Trail Cycle Hire and Tours. The service from the crew was awesome. From the friendly, helpful voice who took our booking on the phone, to the knowledgable Tipene who fitted our bikes and upgraded my wife to electric (which she was VERY grateful for) to Tamate our shuttle driver who was prompt at pick up, insightful and informative in our discussion on the return journey. I wasnt even a customer of theirs but had a mechanical problem with my own bike. Tipene gave up his time and expertise to get me on the road and wouldnt accept a cent. Give them your business, people! Cant recommend them enough!!

Superb experience. We (family of four) were disorganised and called toptrails mid morning to see if we could go for a ride that same day. The whole team at toptrails were brilliant, a special shout out to Tipene, who got us sorted and ensured our ride was a great one. The cycle trip itself was excellent and spanned a great variety in scenery. We rode from Kaikohe to Horeke with a break for great home made pies in Okaihau (Saphire cafe).

Great time cycling on excellent bikes! Highlight for the two families (4 adults, 5 teen/tweens) was the cycle from Kaikohe to Mngungu Mission House. Simply beautiful scenery winding through farm and bush down to Hokianga Harbour. Great stops for yummy food at the Okaihau village cafes (special mention to pecan pie at Sapphires) and Snow's Farm kiosk (peach chutney is very good). Super friendly and professional welcome and pick up each day.
