This practice made a man tell them his medical issue outside infront of everyone. They made him state multiple times he needed viagra loudly and that they hadn't put it on his script as he had requested This man was fully embarrassed and I felt uncomfortable for him. The practice of having people outside telling their personal issues with no privacy is absolutely disgusting and degrading. The covid rules are affecting people's decency. This didn't need to hap. Absolutely disgusting

As with all Northland, the chances of finding an actual doctor are slim, and many are very overworked. Considering the shocking shortage of doctors and rates of burnout amongst Northland GPs (over 55% apparently), most of the doctors here are doing really well all things considered. However, the following story is worth saying: My mother fell over twice recently rather badly (a severe health condition affects her balance) and her legs were healing very slowly. She made an appointment, but the doctor (Dr MacMillan, FYI) barely glanced at her legs, but instead gave the priceless advice: try not to fall over again until theyve healed. My Mum later discovered (via the online service manage my health) that the doctor had made comments on her file that she hadnt even asked about including a long term lack of exercise, which is totally untrue (actually she often exhausts herself with exercise). Im afraid this doctor is operating well below par. As I said, most of the doctors, nurses and receptionists are lovely, in my experience. Most.
