Futon Ya San organic

I wanted to share a few positives about Futon Ya San after my previous review. On a positive note the craftsmanship and materials are exquisite. I love sleeping on natural materials. The very firm mattress keeps my spine in perfect alignment - which is vital for my lower back disc issues. Whilst the mattress was too firm for me I have found a work around. A memory foam topper on the bed base, with the futon on top. This creates the softness missing from the mattress but does not effect spinal alignment.

I have had 2 futon mattresses before from another supplier and they were great. I purchased a wool mattress from Futon Ya San & found it wasnt full enough, it was like sleeping on a duvet. Mansoor suggested i upgrade to the coco latex model, he was able to add another layer to my existing futon. So I went with that soending an extra $500 or so. On the website it promised "the coco/latex option is the perfect balance of softness and insulation."When it arrived I thought great the mattress now has structure it feels more like a mattress. However it turns out there is NO SOFTNESS the futon feels like a rock. I asked for a refund on the mattress but was not given one. I spent around $2000 on the futon & $160 on shipping to sleep on a rock. I am now trying different mattress toppers to improve the mattress but nothing is working. It should be illegal to purchase a bed without a sample or being able to test it first. Regretable purchase. It's just awful.
