We reached out to Lloyd with a fairly rudimentary sketch of what we thought we wanted and he worked with us to refine the design, and make it really sing. His care and thought at each step was more than helpful, and he provided options for us on timbers, joinery and little touches to bring it all together. I cannot speak highly enough of Lloyd's work. He's a real craftsman with an eye for detail. I highly recommend him. Lloyd made a desk, table and cabinet (/bookshelf) for me out of NZ grown walnut timber. It all turned out very well and is of the highest quality. Lloyd captured exactly what I wanted and actioned it perfectly. Lloyd was also responsive throughout, kept to his time estimates, and sent regular updates (including photos). I am so glad we contacted Lloyd. He explained the process well, from how he would make the bed, what timber choices were available to us, to the finished surface and how he would do that, and kept us up to date with its construction, along the way and then took care of the delivery for us. We are exceptionally happy with the outcome, right from his attention to detail, through to the quality of his craftmanship.
