Kerikeri is always nice to visit. Plenty to do for active and not so active people. I couldn't think of anywhere better to base our four day trip. We stayed in the Birdsong cottage. Communication with Anna and Murray was excellent. The presentation of the property and accomodation was five star and a credit to the owners. Set well off the road it is a very peacfull place. Lovely to wander the gardens and the bonus of an art gallery on site! Amenities were the cleanest I have seen. Dine out or if you want eat in as there is a fully equipped kitchen. Anna also provided a wonderful selection of fruit, museli, bacon, eggs etc, oh and the melt in your mouth brownie! Thank you for your hospitality Anna and Murray.

We travelled a lot and Treghan was the cleanest and most welcoming place we had ever stayed. Anna called us the day before to confirm our eating habits. We stayed in a room with a rich breakfast of fruit, homemade musli, chocolate and, artistic mixed spice toast. The details of the room layout reflect the owner's artistic taste. Before we arrived, the air conditioner was turned on, which made the Winter in New Zealand feels particularly warm. The Lodge is well located and is close to the Kerikeri Centre, chocolate Factory and weekend market. Will definitely bring my parents to visit next time.

Absolutely perfect in every way! The property is beautifully nestled in the Keri Keri countryside, right next to the centre of Keri Keri town. Tranquility, the house we stayed in, was everything you could want - beautifully decorated, soft and comfy furnishings, super soft robes, modern kitchen amenities and eco friendly products to use. We had such a good nights sleep in our bed! Not to mention the incredibly thoughtful provisions basket we got given. We are vegan and they put so much thought into everything we got, from delicious hazelnut chocolate, strawberries and fresh fruit, coconut yoghurt and even handmade vegan treats from a local store. We also LOVE Anna and Murray, the propertys owners. They are so kind and considerate, and were totally in love with Annas amazing pink hair! They also let us bring our little cavoodle Lily and have been so lovely to her, giving her a special chew treat when we arrived. This is our favourite place that weve stayed in NZ, and Id dare say in the top five of places weve ever stayed globally. We are totally relaxed and cant wait to come back again soon.
